FAQ

Why detail the engine bay if no one sees it?

Three reasons: resale value, leak detection, and engine longevity. A clean engine bay can add several hundred dollars to private-sale negotiation and signals "well-maintained" to dealers and inspectors. It also makes new oil or coolant leaks immediately visible against the clean baseline — early leak detection saves expensive repairs.

On the longevity side: caked-on grime traps heat, so a clean engine bay actually runs slightly cooler and the rubber hoses, plastic intake parts, and wiring last longer because they are not baked under a layer of insulation. The dressing we apply to plastics and rubber is UV-protective, slowing the cracking and fading that turns a 10-year-old engine bay brittle.

It is the single most under-valued detailing service for anyone planning to keep a car 5+ years or sell it private-party. Pair it with a Platinum or Gold detail and the car shows like a much newer vehicle on every surface that matters.
