Yes — almost every yellow or foggy headlight is fixable without replacement. The cloudiness is a thin layer of UV-damaged polycarbonate on the lens surface; we wet-sand it off in stages, polish the lens back to clarity, and apply a UV-protective sealant so the result lasts 1 to 3 years.
Process: tape off the surrounding paint, wet-sand starting at 800 grit and stepping up through 1500, 2000, and 3000 to remove the oxidation without leaving sanding marks, polish the lens with a dual-action polisher and refining compound until it reads optically clear, then seal with a UV coating. Both lights take 60 to 90 minutes total.
When replacement is the right call: cracks INSIDE the lens (not just surface haze), moisture trapped between the lens and the housing (a sign the seal failed), or a chipped lens with daylight visible through the crack. We will tell you up front if your headlights are past the point restoration can save them, and we never charge for the assessment.
