Maybe. If you can catch a fingernail in the scratch, it has gone through the clear coat into the basecoat — paint correction can't fix that without spot-repair or repainting. If the scratch is shallower (most swirl marks, light keys, finger-grazes from putting the car cover on), correction can usually remove or significantly reduce it.
For deeper scratches, we offer light scratch removal as an add-on ($65) — that's targeted polishing on the affected area, distinct from the full-panel correction. Sometimes that's all the car needs.
When the scratch is too deep for any correction, we'll tell you and recommend a body shop. We don't take money for work that won't produce results.
