FAQ

Is engine bay cleaning safe for modern cars?

Yes — when done correctly. Maximum covers all sensitive electronics (alternator, fuse boxes, intake openings, exposed connectors) before any water touches the bay, uses a low-pressure rinse rather than a power-washer, and runs the engine briefly before agitating to cook off any residual moisture before drying.

Modern cars (especially post-2015 vehicles with extensive plastic engine covers) are actually easier to clean than 90s-era engines because most components are pre-sealed. The risk is operator error, not the technique itself.

After cleaning, we apply a UV-protectant dressing to the plastic covers and rubber hoses. The bay looks factory-fresh — useful before a sale, before warranty work, or just because.
